Courses/Modules

Completion of either of the following pathways earns “NCCP Badminton Regional Coach Trained” status.

Note: registration for badminton specific modules requires an active Badminton Ontario (BON) membership ($15) and NCCP #.

Badminton-Specific:
This pathway can be cheaper than the multi-sport pathway and is often done on a weekend (e.g. Friday evening plus all-day Saturday and Sunday) in-person with a Learning Facilitator (LF):

The badminton specific modules are known as:

  • Module 1 – Plan a Practice ($85)
  • Module 2 – Teaching and Learning and Make Ethical Decisions ($135)
  • Module 3 – Technical and Tactical Basics ($185)

Check the Badminton Ontario calendar for upcoming clinics.

Multi-Sport:
The multi-sport pathway consists of 3 multi-sport courses (equivalent to Modules 1 and 2) and the badminton specific Module 3. The advantages of this pathway is that the multi-sport courses are available online throughout the year, significantly discounted during NCCP Super Clinic “week” (e.g., costing only $10-15 per course), and transferable towards other NCCP certifications.

  • NCCP Planning a Practice ($90)
  • NCCP Teaching and Learning ($90)
  • NCCP Make Ethical Decisions ($75)
  • Module 3 – Technical and Tactical Basics ($185)

Check the Coaches Association of Ontario course calendar and the Badminton Ontario calendar for upcoming clinics.
